Ramada Resort Hervey Bay

Being the chosen plastering contractor for Hervey Bay’s Ramada Resort was a privileged, yet daunting honour. With luxurious appointments and innovative design chosen for this project, the specifications were simple – produce an outstanding quality of work, ensure it meets with the construction programme and perform it safely. All Internal framing, the fire rated partitions and all plastering works were completed by our company with an average workforce of 10 local employees on site for almost five (5) months. The results produced at this luxury complex are something that we at Knight Plastering are extremely proud of.

With 49 brilliantly designed, spacious apartments coming out of the ground, we were asked to complete the internal framing, internal plastering and internal carpentry fit out. The architect requested exquisite finishes throughout.

Peppers Pier Resort

All Internal framing, all external framing, the fire rated partitions, all plastering works and the carpentry fitout were completed by our company with an average workforce of 60 men on site for almost twelve (12) months.

Hervey Bay Airport.

With the first jets booked to land on 29th July, 2005 and only 12 weeks construction time, the challenge was set by builder Bellero Constructions Pty Airport 1Ltd to “get the job done!”

Our scope: Total floor area of 2500m2 needing:

  • 150mm external framework
  • CFC cladding
  • Soffits
  • Internal acoustic timber panelled ceilings
  • Curved ceilings and bulkheads

All the while, the airport was still servicing daily flights, amidst a total reconstruction – inside and out…Airport 2

The Architect had requested an enamel gloss paint for the curved ceilings, with high wattage lighting – not an easy task! We applied a Level 5 spray-on finish to achieve a great result.
